The complete resource to stage your own Wedding reception
Catered-Events are a creative team with many years of combined catering & hospitality exposure. Experienced and talented individuals that include very clever chefs, experienced event managers and professional front of house staff. All with a focus on delivering a successful event, every time.
Hi, my name is Dave Whitehurst and welcome to Catered-Events.
I started event catering back in 2002 after spending my own working life managing similar events and hiring in caterers and other suppliers to entertain my corporate clients. I’ve managed gala charity dinners, I’ve launched new offices, launched cars, clothing ranges, housing developments for a variety of high profile corporate clients. I’ve been to more weddings than I can remember but more importantly I’ve experienced both good and bad companies involved within hospitality.
You may know us as “call the caterers”, a dedicated event and wedding caterer. Over the years we have developed great working relationships with associated industries, like Marquee & Tipi companies in particular, spending 30 weekends a year working in them!
This site is designed to help individuals, “brides or grooms to be” who want to break with convention and stage their own reception. Style the venue themselves, theme the big day, choose their own DJ, live band or Caterer, buy their own table wine or manage their own bar
Through selected partners, like minded businesses we can offer a range of services that you will need to help host your own back garden wedding reception or party. We know Marquee and Tipi companies, we know guys who do the posh toilets and extra power via commercial generators. Entertainment, flowers, how about a live band? The list is growing as each year we take bookings far and wide and equally get promoted by our friends.
The resource isn’t limited to just weddings, recent corporate clients who have trusted us to deliver on their behalf include, fashion shows at Selfridges, Boots annual BBQ, a Marquee in a quarry for Volvo trucks open day and a 13 date event for Barefoot wines “clean the beach campaign”. Then there was Fosters “win a BBQ & beer competition”, Clinton cards staff conference, Isuzu dealer principal open day, Goodyear blimp re-launch, Wimpey housing development open day, Fiat & Aston Martin dealer days and Nottingham University end of term student dinner to name just a few.
